On Friday November 2nd Wal-Mart started the holiday
shopping early by selling at brand new laptop for $350. The
laptop is fully loaded new with Windows Vista. The extreme
price drop reflects the continuous erosion in the PC and Laptop
market. It also sets the stage for a very competitive holiday
shopping season between national retailers and computer
manufactures.
The downward price pressure only means that
the used and refurbished PC market will continued to be
squeezed.
