The keystone of PC Recycler Inc.’s auditing and reporting practices is thoroughness. Accurate inventory is the first step in PC Recycler’s process. All items that enter PC Recycler’s chain of custody are tagged with an internal bar code, inventoried, based on serial number, and stripped of all previous identification. All of this is done with PC Recycler’s proprietary data capture software and handhelds.

Once the client-approved destruction process is completed, an inventory list is then provided to each client, along with a Certificate of Destruction, notarized and signed by a PC Recycler officer. This Certificate is a nationally recognized legal document of performance. These documents are each customer’s assurance that all items entrusted to PC Recycler are in fact recycled in the contracted manner. This documentation is your tangible proof of a job well done.

Additionally, should your organization ever be required to produce a record of the responsible riddance of your sensitive electronics, PC Recycler’s inventory list and Certificate of Destruction will stand up to any audit. PC Recycler’s documentation strategy has been successfully tested, on numerous occasions, against the most stringent of auditing standards employed by the U.S. government and its agencies.
