Step 1 – Needs Analysis & Risk Assessment
A PC Recycler representative will be in contact to discuss your organization’s data destruction needs to develop a plan that aligns with your required security protocols and destruction needs. We will discuss our on-site shredding services and our off-site services. Our goal is to tailor a process to meet your company’s needs.
Step 2 – Agreement
A write-up of the contracted promise by PC Recycler to maintain the integrity of your organization’s data while securely and effectively managing the removal of agreed upon data storage devices.
Step 3 – Scheduling
PC Recycler representative will work with your organization to schedule the optimal time for either On Site or Off-site processing. Our staff will work with your facilities personnel to maintain the highest professionalism when working on your premises. Our staff are all US citizens and have passed thorough background checks.
Step 4 – Work Performance – Inventory
Our audit trails and paperwork are the best in the industry. We feel the paper work proof of action taken with your sensitive data is a best practice. Accurate inventory is the first step in PC Recycler procedure. All items that enter PC Recycler’s care are tagged with an internal bar code and inventoried, based on serial number.
Step 5 – Transportation
PC Recycler’s corporate truck fleet is the next best thing to transporting your sensitive data in an armored car. Each is wired with the latest in GPS tracking technology and intrusion protection reinforcement. PC Recycler can make special arrangements for armored car service to deliver your material for shredding.
Step 6 – Final Review
Once the client-approved, data destruction process is completed, an inventory list is then provided to each client, along with a Certificate of Destruction, for auditing and accountability purposes. This certificate is not just a simple piece of paper. It is a notarized legal document that has been used in the most stringent audits. The inventory document will show each item that was processed so you can audit the process.
Step 7 – Customer Performance Review
Because of PC Recycler’s dedication to continuous improvement, and to ensure your organization’s experience was convenient and to your satisfaction, a brief evaluation will follow the completion of your PC Recycler experience.
